PriceWalgren, Division of George Koch Sons, LLC.  is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our team.  This individual will be responsible for managing projects at or better than budget, within planned schedule, in a manner that delivers expected performance, superior quality and value to our customers. 
 

Key Responsibilities:  

Perform as the Project Manager with accountability for overall project delivery including:  

• Visit customer sites, participate in customer proposal review meetings, review specifications and contract documents to fully understand the scope of the project.

• Work with design, engineering, field services and vendors during the design, scope development phases to accurately build a project schedule.   
• Preparation of project documentation required for accurate invoicing as defined by the purchase order.  
• Coordinate competitive bidding of major equipment and installation.   
• Coordinate with purchasing for contractor/vendor selection and issuance of contracts and purchase orders.  
• Project financial management including budgeting, change management, cash flow projections, and invoicing.  
• Site Coordination during construction/installation with contractors, vendors, maintenance and operations.   
• Project close out including compilation of project documentation, punch list finalization, financial asset allocations, and project financial closeout.

• Focus on Scope, Budget and Schedule - committed to maintaining a clear understanding of project goals and objectives while insuring that the customer and operation team members stay on track in regards to scope, budget and schedule.  
• Change Management - ability to keenly recognize changes in project scope, budget and/or schedule or a deviation from the customer’s original primary goals and objectives.

• Safety and Quality - committed to insuring that all customer and GKS safety and quality guidelines are adhered to.  
• Committed to Customer Service - accessible, responsive, takes action from the customer’s perspective, insures customer expectations are met, intuitive to a customer’s culture and way of conducting business, • Ability to Multi-task - capable of managing multiple projects that are in different phases of delivery while managing multiple/conflicting priorities per project as well as between projects.  


Requisite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1.      Understanding of all system equipment and design standards. 

2.      Good understanding of contract terms, proposal templates, estimating templates and spreadsheets.

3.      Experience with ERP system. 

4.      Strong Presentation, Organization and Written/Verbal Communication

5.      Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project Outlook, Word and Excel.

6.      Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

7.      Ability to speak a second language (Preferred but not required.)

Education, Training, and/or Experience:  

1.      B.S. in Project Management or a technical related field such as Engineering, Construction Management or Facility Management, and at least 5 years of related experience.

2.      Experience with coordinating and managing installation and startup of finishing or specialized processing equipment.

3.      Experience presenting to a technical society or conference (preferred).
