Corporate Trainer - Heavy Equipment Component Rebuild 


Our Corporate location in Evansville, IN has an immediate opening for a Corporate Trainer - Heavy Equipment Component Rebuild.  Additionally, we are seeking full time Cylinder Technicians, CNC and Manual Machinists and Rebuild Technicians!


Job Responsibilities:
* Assess company current skill needs
* Develop training curriculum to train new and existing team members
* Develop training material, props, simulators, etc to enhance training
* Communicate training needs and online resources
* Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials
* Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology
* Test and review created materials
* Maintain database of all training materials
* Instruct team members training and onboarding
* Develop means to assess/track training outcome
* Develop means to asses if current team members need additional training and the type of training
* Ensure all team members are trained and perform to company standards
* Other duties are assigned


Job Requirements:
* Must have 7+ years of hands-on experience rebuilding off-road heavy equipment parts and components, specifically Caterpillar equipment
* Ability to assess and develop training strong training program
* Must have 5+ years’ experience in a trainer/instructor position
* Strong/In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar components and other heavy equipment
* College or technical school diploma required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Able to travel on occasion to other branch locations

* Ability to work independently
* Overtime may be required

Additional Information: 

Brake Supply requires that you wear metatarsal steel toed safety shoes, safety eye protection as required for this job. You are responsible for acquiring metatarsal steel toed safety shoes that meet ANSI standards. Brake supply will supply you safety eye protection appropriate for the position and meet ANSI standards. If you wear prescription glasses, and do not wish to wear over the glass, glasses, it is your responsibility to acquire safety frames and lenses that meet ANSI standards.

The first 90 days of your employment are considered to be probationary. If you are unable to satisfactorily perform the job for which you are hired, you may be discharged anytime during the initial 90 day period.
