Koch Air is seeking an ambitious entry level and/or experienced individual with a passion to learn and grow their HVAC industry knowledge. The Junior Sales Territory Manager role will give exposure and introduction to a Residential Sales Territory Manager role. The expectation of the Junior Territory Sales Manager is to consistently develop sales competencies and learn the ropes of managing the client relationship. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the sales functions for accounts assigned to Lead Territory Manager to achieve sales, margins, share of wallet, and share of market targets by including growing existing accounts and recruiting new accounts.

  2. Be an active member of the sales team in its entirety, which includes implementing Koch Air Strategic Plan, participation in sales team meetings, participation in the overall sales process, assisting with commercial sales, implementing sales strategies and participation in trade shows as assigned.

  3. Fully understand and promote the Koch Air Value Proposition and core products (equipment, parts, supplies, services), dealer programs, advertising, promotions, warranty procedures, business processes, E-Commerce, and other programs and policies. Actively look for and recommend improvements.

  4. Learn Customer Development plans to focus efforts and manage time for superior territory performance.

  5. Assist in training meetings for customers on Koch Air products, and business processes and customer lead generation, business management, and customer service. Make recommendations for Koch Air training programs.

  6. Survey customers, quotes, and orders to detect business trends and opportunities for new products, services, and accounts. Make specific recommendations on inventory management to help purchasing optimize turns and availability.

  7. Assist Inside Sales in writing and pricing customer orders for equipment and related materials if required.

  8. Assist in sales forecasts, budgets, expense reports, competitive pricing studies and requests for competitive pricing and other reports as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelors Degree in business or equivalent sales experience, preferably in HVAC.

  1. Must be responsive to customers and exhibit a service and sales attitude.

  2. Ability to understand customer requirements and manage the customer relationship.

  3. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal required.

  4. Ability to use PC and Microsoft Office suite proficiently.
