Our Casper WY location has immediate openings for FLUID POWER TECHNICIAN.  Additionally, we are seeking full time CNC Machinist, Wet Brake Technicians, and Cylinder Mechanics!
 

PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to tear down, clean, inspect, and rebuild heavy equipment components.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy fluid power technician environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns
* Secure all technical and breakdown information before unit teardown and inspection.
* Neatly list the parts required to do the job.
* Complete the required information on the work order and route it for appropriate action.
* Inspect new, repaired, used parts when they arrive to insure they are usable and or correct.
* Reassemble the unit properly to known OEM specifications when applicable.
* Keep all tools, bench, vise, and surrounding floor area clean, organized and uncluttered.
* Recognize problems and offer solutions as they relate to your job and work.
* Know status of jobs and work orders that have been assigned to you.
* Communicate, recognize, follow up and complete jobs that have been started by other team members.
* Check all parts for proper fit, tolerance, threads, etc.
* Operate tactfully under pressure - courteous to co-workers.
* Carry an on-call phone if/when applicable, on a rotating schedule as required.
* Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Brake Supply requires that you wear metatarsal steel-toed safety shoes and safety eye protection for this job.  You are responsible for acquiring metatarsal steel-toed safety shoes that meet ANSI standards.  Brake Supply will provide safety eye protection that meets ANSI standards appropriate for the position.  If you wear prescription glasses, and do not wish to wear over the glass glasses, it is your responsibility to acquire safety frames and lenses that meet ANSI standards.

The first 90 days of your employment are PROBATIONARY.  If you are unable to satisfactorily perform the job for which you are hired, you may be discharged at any time during the initial 90-day period.
